What to expect when you visit

Our services tend toward the traditional, yet feel informal.

Preaching of the Word of God (Bible) is normally exegetical,

opening the meaning of the Scripture line by line, verse by verse.

Services run about 70 - 85 minutes.

Occasionally we have guest speakers and special presentations.

Sunday Mornings

Worship Services:

We have two identical Sunday services:

8:00 am and 11:00 am

Sunday School classes for all ages:

9:45 am

Summer Schedule (mid-May - August)

Services are at 9:00 am and 11:00

There is no Sunday School in the summer

What should I wear?

Our focus is on worship, not wardrobe.

Some men wear ties, most do not.

Some of us dress up, some wear jeans.

Please wear whatever makes

you feel most comfortable.

Music

Worship songs mix traditional and contemporary, incorporating a variety of instrumentation. We stand to sing, believing it helps us to be more engaged.

Prayer

Each week we have public prayer.

No one is put on the spot, but

you have opportunity to

speak out loud to the congregation

about your desire for prayer or praise.

Communion

We serve open Communion the first Sunday of each month.

This means if you are a follower of Christ we invite you to participate.

Offering

We don't pass an offering plate.

Gifts to the Lord are placed

in the offering box in the foyer

or made through online giving.

What about my children?

Children of all ages are always welcome in the auditorium during worship services.

If you prefer, we offer care for infants and Bible-based programs for toddlers through 3rd grade during our 11:00 service.  On the first Sunday of every month (Communion Sunday), we offer infant care but older children remain in the service with their parents.

During the school year, we offer Sunday School classes for toddlers through high school, and a nursery for infants.  Click here for the current children's Sunday morning schedule.

Greeters will be happy to show you to the classrooms.  You’ll find all of our teachers and caregivers ready to share God’s word with your children in a loving and nurturing way.
