Chapel By The Sea has a wide variety of ministries and opportunities to serve. We have Life Groups for all which are not locked into an "age grouping." Our Pastorial Staff, the Elders, the Deacons and teachers share the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Here are some of our regular ministries: Awana (preschool-sixth grade), Children’s Ministries K—12, Discipleship Groups, Events, Flower Ministry, Food Ministry Coordinator, Greenhouse, Jr. Church Coordinator, Kitchen Coordinators, Library, Media Team, Missions, Nursery, Toddlers, Music, Prayer, Senior, Ushers & Greeters.
Children are very important to us. They are messengers to a time we'll never see. We love children and try to support and assist the vital spiritual connection parents have to their kids. A primary goal is to introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ.
All our teachers and leaders for the regular weekly ministries complete an application, submit to a background check, give two references, view a Child Protection video, and then are submitted for approval by the elders. We have a child protection policy which we follow and on which we give training regularly. Everyone who serves is required to take that training. When the need's immediate, you serve in a probationary status until these required items are completed.
